Have you checked to see if you cistern is full of water? Open the lid and have a look, it could be that the plasic ball has become stuck at the bottom of the toilet and isnt filling up. gently lift it up, if it is, and cistern should start filling up with water. Are you having to pull your toilet handle a few times before it flushes? This could be a problem with your siphon, the plastic diaphragm may have split or the siphon itself maybe faulty. Or does the fluch handle feel quite loose, like it's broken off inside the toilet? you may need a new flush handle or it may just need to be re-connected. There are a number of things that can go wrong with a toilet but our expereinced plumbers will be able to diagnose and fix any and all of them, quickly.

If you notice that your toilet seems to only leak when you flush you toilet then that could be because the seal around your flush pupe has gone. There could be something in your drain restricting the flow of water (if its a new problem) or if its been like that since you moved in then it could be that there isn't enough fall on your drain pipes to carry the water down hill to the main drain.

Have you noticed a pool of water under your kitchen sink? Theres a lot of different water related things under there. Usually the main stopcock for your property is under there - that could be weeping slightly? Either the hot  or cold feeds coming into you tap could be leaking. The u-bend under the sink could be leaking or one of the connections into it maybe (from the washing machine or dishwasher). our plumbers live for this kind of stuff, give us a call and we'll come and sort it out for you.

Does you whole tap move when you try to open or close it? This can sometimes be quite an awkward DIY job, on your back, under the kitchen sink trying to tighten nuts etc in confined spaces! Why not let one of our plumbers do this for you? They've been doing it for years and theres nothing they haven't seen before.

Do you find that there is a ring of water collecting around the base of your tap? There are a number of things this could be. Quite often it is to do with the cartridge in the tap. Your tap may need a new cartrdge or could just need some new seals? Our experienced plumber will be able to tell you exactly what's wrong with your tap and have it working as good as new in no time.

Is your kitchen tap constantly dripping? Or maybe that tap in your bathroom is getting harder and harder to close off properly? This could be a number of things, but will most probably be the washers in your tap (little round rubber things) that act the seal in your tap and prevent the water from passing. If these are worn or knackered, your tap will drip. This is a fairly quick and easy fix for one of our expereinced plumbers and could be sorted in a matter of minutes. Enquire about a "1 Minute Plumber" deal currently being in South West London - where you'll only be charged for the minutes that our plumbers are there. so if changing your tap washers only takes us 10 minutes, it's only going to cost you a tenner.
